Centrally located, immaculately clean, with friendly and helpful owner/staff. Short walk to the beach and easy access to restaurants and shops. Had bike available to rent at a very reasonable rate which allowed me to explore further. Hard to beat the value for the price. Best option you will find anywhere in the area if you are looking for a simple, clean, friendly, and safe accommodations.

Cleanliness, simplicity and a feelong of cozyness were the most appealing aspects of this property. No bells and whistles of the so called star rated properties - just the facilities needed for a typical tourist family. It appeared that the property is operated by a family and their staff who are quite helpful. The rooms and the bathrooms were clean. Internet connectivity was good. The location was great. Almost everything a typical family tourist group may want is available nearby - plenty of good restaurants, street foods, shopping areas, tour operators, massage parlours, currency exchange booths, all are available. And the good thing is that the ambience is still quite laid-back and calm.

I booked last minute and stayed 3 days in this hotel.Very friendly personnel, assisted with everything.One can book excursions and transfer service.The rooms are very clean and are cleaned every day. The breakfast is ok.For the few days I stayed and in such short notice it was great. Would stay there again

Rakkawan Residence is the perfect place to stay in Khao Lak! It is clean, quiet and comfortable, and the staff is helpful and friendly. I'm so glad I stayed here compared to any beach resort! Excellent location to access many beaches, restaurants and shops in walking distance or by motorbike (which you can rent directly from them). I actually extended my stay because it was so enjoyable. Also nearby many dive centers, which was helpful as I was doing my open water course. The drop off service was smooth and comfortable, and worth the price. I would stay here again whenever I come back to Khao Lak!

The location is very close to all the shops, restaurants, bars and beaches in Khao Lak. It is a 30 minutes walk from Lam Ru National Park which is a lovely place to spend a day. The room was cleaned every day which was a nice touch and breakfast was good (even though not very diverse). The lady from the reception desk spoke really good English, was very nice and helped us with booking a taxi to Phuket airport. For the money paid, the place totally exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay at Rakkawan Residence again if we return to Khao Lak.

Spacious apartment. Very clean, 5-10 minute easy walk to beach. Surrounded by restaurants. Nice breakfast...Staff very friendly and helpful... I would recommend rakkawan:)

The family that runs this hotel is really nice. The room is big enough to be comfortable for more than a short stay. Everything was clean. Location is central to the main road in Khao Lak, although a bit further to get to some of the beaches. This is a place to stay if you want a peaceful place to recharge on your Thailand travels.

This was a last minute booking as the previous hotel I booked lost my reservation. This was a very practical location, clean and quiet room for a one night stay after getting off a liveaboard. Short walk from restaurants, 7Eleven, dive shops, etc. Friendly and efficient staff, fast internet, great AC, comfy bed.

Staff really kind and helpful. Good positions, quite location next to everything, fresh fruits shops included. They kept my luggage and valuables while I was on a 3 days tour.

The property is a very short walk away from the dive shop I’ve signed up with, very accessible on foot even with a backpack. Took me only 3 minutes to walk. Plenty of restaurants in the area as well, both local and international food. The property was clean and comfortable. There was always a staff on duty, even at night.
